Mike Wilde of The New Saints has been named as the Welsh Premier player of the month for March.
The former Fleetwood Town man scored an incredible seven goals during March.
Wilde is now the leading scorer of the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League with 22 goals and is one ahead of Bangor’s Chris Simm.
The Birkenhead born striker has scored in the last five league games and will hope to continue the run in tomorrow nights away fixture at Carmarthen Town.
Carl Darlington has been named the manager of the month, after helping The New Saints to win all four games in March.
The Saints defeated Pretatyn Town 3-0, thrashed Bangor City 6-0, before travelling down to Port Talbot and returning with a comprehensive 3-0 victory. The New Saints of Oswestry Town then rounded off the month with a 3-0 home victory against Carmarthen Town and in doing so were crowned League Champions for a seventh time.
