The TNS Under 11’s drew two all with Crewe Alex Under 11’s.
Managed by Mark Evans, the TNS Under 11 squad was David Williams, Max Hughes, Ben Buley, Spencer Parrish, Ben Rowlands, Finlay Evans, Dion Williams, Morgan Daykin, Lewis Hodgson, James Burrows, Louie Millington, Luke Wicks and Liam Rawlings.
A truly excellent, entertaining and competitive game took place at The Venue. The game was played in three 20 minute periods and the visitors started the brighter. Crewe applied some heavy pressure in the first ten minutes but TNS grew with confidence and started to create chances of their own.
Ben Buley opened the scoring for The Saints on 12 minutes with a lobbed finish, after good work down the left wing. However, Crewe equalised two minutes later and the first period ended one all.
Crewe took the lead in the second period despite both goalkeepers having excellent games.
The final third of the game started in the same vein with some really good football being played. TNS equalised after five minutes thanks to a great controlled finish from Morgan Daykin. The rest of the game saw chances at both ends but the game finished two all.
The goal scorers for TNS were Ben Buley and Morgan Daykin.
Meanwhile, The TNS Under 15’s lost to Airbus.
The young Saints started brightly but were unable to take their chances and after a few mistakes in the first half they went into half time three goals down.
The Saints started the second half brightly but TNS but were unable to get the vital goal. Later in the half they conceded another two and lost the game five nil.
