The Walford and North Shropshire College Development team won 3-1 against Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College yesterday.
The line up for the match was Keiron Lee-Birch, Josh Graves, Robert Ray, Josh Tomley, Lewis Hayward, Jesse Byron, Harry Hall, Connor Tinsley, Garry Evans, Jake Edwards, Jake Mantell, Michael Rogers and Jason Marriot.
Despite going a goal down the Development team battled on really well and Garry Evans equalised after half an hour, after being picked out by Jake Mantell.
Moments later and Connor Tinsley scored the goal of the game. The youngster hit a superb free kick which flew past the visiting goalkeeper to ensure that the home side went into half time leading.
Harry Hall sealed the win after he somehow got the final touch on a scrappy goalmouth clearance, to make it 3-1 after 65minutes.
Late on, Tinsley was given a harsh second yellow card after a strong tackle in the middle of the park but the with only a few minutes left, the ten men held on for their second win of the season.
