After regaining top spot in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League, Craig Harrison was pleased with the victory against Rhyl and praised his  players for their patient display, ‘It was a very good and patient performance from the lads. There is no given right for us to win any football game. Firstly you have to work hard as a team and then secondly, show the quality that we have in our squad. At half time we reiterated how we want to play and we should go about it.’

Harrison who today celebrated his 36th Birthday, was impressed by Greg Strong’s side, ‘Rhyl came to Park Hall and agave it a real go without forcing Paul Harrison into any notable saves. I really like the way they play because they have so much enthusiasm in their team. However, in the end, our extra quality proved too much for them. I am very fortunate to have such a strong and competitive squad and all 14 players that featured on Friday played well.’

With Airbus UK dropping points, the former Middlesbrough defender highlighted that there is still a long way to this season, ‘With Airbus losing we are now top but we have only completed a third of the season, so there are still many more games. With the league being so competitive we just need to keep doing our thing and concentrating on ourselves.’
