WNSC hoping for another win

Last week the WNSC Development team won five four after a dramatic last minute winner from Jake Edwards and will be hoping to continue the form into tomorrow’s match against Solihull.

Jake Mantell gave the home side an early lead after some good work from Robert Ray and despite being under pressure, he managed to score another to give his side a two goal lead.

However, South Birmingham scored two quick goals to equalise on the stroke of half time.

The energetic Andrew Garmston wonderfully headed in from close range to give his side the lead and within minutes the College side Edwards made it four.

South Birmingham refused to give in and clawed their way back with tow well worked goals but in the last minute of the match, Edwards linked up with Ray to ensure a thrilling end to the match.

The full team line up was Kieran Lee-Birch, Jason Glennister, Sam Jones, Harry Coles, Lewis Hatwood, Andrew Garmston, Connor Tinsley, Robert Rae,  Jake Mantell, Garry Evans, Alex James, Jason Marriott, Kieran Beever, Jake Edwards, Michael Rogers and Josh Tomley.

Next up for the WNSC will be a trip to Birmingham to play Solihull. The match will kick off at 14:00pm tomorrow.
