Cefn Mawr visit Saints

The Show Racism the Red Card team were at Park Hall stadium again yesterday.

Pupils from the Cefn Mawr County Primary School took part in an educational workshop delivered by education worker Chris Stokes, learning about the topic of racism through interactive games and discussions.

During the workshop the young people took the chance to make additional notes adding to the research they had done prior to the event to aid in the production of their newspaper articles which they will be writing after the event, when they return to school.

The afternoon session was supported by manager Craig Harrison who was joined by campaign worker Jason Webber for the role play press conference.

The young people posed questions on racism in football and society to the panel who faced some tough intelligent questions.

The best asked questions on the day won a signed TNS FC shirt and shorts, a club scarf and SRtRC goodie bag.

Every pupil also received a match ticket for the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League fixture against Aberystwyth Town FC.

Everyone associated with The New Saints would like to thank the school for attending the event.
