TNS U19's put 6 past Shrewsbury Sixth Form College.

The New Saints U19’s made short work of beating Shrewsbury Sixth Form College. The saints dominated the match from start to finish and were worthy winners.

The Saint Raced into a two goal lead. Jamie Hands Scored a goal in the 1st minute of the game and then Liam Jones scored to make it 2-0 after 27 minutes

The third goal was scored by saints left back Rhys Cooper in the 32nd minute. A great ball out to the wing by Dillon Jones to Rhys Cooper. The left back beat the defender, cut inside and then coolly slotted the ball in the near post past the goalkeeper.

The fourth goal was scored by Liam Jones for his second of the game in the 42nd minute. The Shrewsbury Sixth form defence failed to clear the ball and ball was won by Liam Jones just outside of the 18 yard box. A good bit of skill to make room for the shot before a shot into the far corner of the goal

The New Saints Continued to dominant in the second half as Shrewsbury Sixth Form College could hardly get out there own half. The Saint created many more chances but could not find the end product.

Shrewsbury Sixth Form Number 6 was booked for a late challenge on Saints midfielder Ryan Kershaw.

The Saints finally got a 5th goal when they were awarded a penalty for handball in the 65th minute. Liam Jones picked up the ball on the edge of the box, twisting and turning making the Shrewsbury Sixth Form defender fall over and handle the ball and Liam Jones tried to go around him. Liam Jones stepped up for the penalty and coolly slotted the ball down the middle for his hat-trick.

Saints goalkeeper Ryan Edkins finally made a save when the Shrewsbury Sixth Form Left Winger cut inside and had a shot on target that was well saved by Ryan.

Saints continued to dominant and got a sixth goal in the 77th minute of the match . A corner by Ryan Kershaw found an unmarked Ollie Beaman who headed the ball past the keeper.

A dominant display by the Saint who were a class above their opponents.  A well deserved victory.
