The New Saints will take on Airbus UK Broughton tomorrow in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League at Park Hall Stadium.
The Saints will be hoping to get back to winning ways after drawing with Carmarthen Town on Tuesday night.
The top of the table clash could see TNS move eight points clear at the top of the table.
Both Scott Ruscoe and Steve Evans are still sidelined through injury but Mike Wilde is fit again and available for selection. Craig Harrison is confident of getting a good result, ‘It is going to be a tough game and Airbus have proved themselves to be a good footballing side. We are five points ahead of them but they have proved they are a very strong team. They have strengthened in the transfer window and we expect a tough game. However, we are at home so we are going to want to win the game and we will do everything we can to achieve that. I am always confident of a win when we are on top of our game. Two years ago against Helsingborgs IF we drew 0-0 but should have won. We didn’t take our chances. We have got respect for Airbus but we are playing at home and if we are on top of our game we are more than good enough to beat any team.’
Airbus UK were founded in 1946 and are currently managed by former Bury boss, Andy Preece. Nicknamed ‘The Wingmakers’ Preece’s side currently sit in second Place in the Welsh Premier League and play their home games at The Airfield.
The New Saints have yet to beat Airbus this season after two meetings. The Saints lost 2-1 in the Word Cup and drew 1-1 in the WPL.
The last time the two teams met at Park Hall was back in April 2013. A brace from Michael Wilde, a deflected free kick from Ryan Fraughan and a wonderful strike from Chris Marriott secured a 4-2 victory.
The Referee for the game will be Mr M.S.Whitby.
