The New Saints will take on Bala Town in the Semi-Final of the FAW Welsh Cup tomorrow afternoon.
The Cup clash will take place at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium and will kick off at 14:30pm.
Craig Harrison’s Saints qualified for the Semi-Final thanks to a hard fought victory over Airbus. Late goals from Mike Wilde and Sam Finley were enough to see off The Wingmakers.
Harrison’s side had set up the match with Airbus by beating Carmarthen Town by two goals to nil in the previous round. TNS forward Wilde and Ryan Fraughan ensured the victory with a goal in either half.
Meanwhile, Colin Caton’s side progressed into the Semi-Final after beating Aberdare Town by two goals to one on the first of March.
However, The Saints will be unable to call upon the injured trio of Alex Darlington, Scott Ruscoe, and Steve Evans for the fixture against The Lakesiders.
Harrison is looking forward to the game and said, ‘There is no difference between the League and the Cup games because we want to win them all. I have very fond memories of the Welsh Cup because I won it the first year I was at this club. It has been a successful competition for us over the years and we were disappointed last year to get beat in the Semi-Final, especially the way the game went. The Welsh Cup is a very old and prestigious trophy in Wales and we will be going all out to make sure that we get into the final tomorrow.’
Aberystwyth Town or Holywell Town will await the winners of the tie.
