With the 2013/2014 TNS Academy season coming to an end, you can find all the latest information regarding the Academy from the newsletter.
The latest Academy Newsletter can be read below.
Dear Players and Parents,
We are coming to the end of the Academy season. We have now been training for 30 weeks and feel that splitting up into blocks and not training during the holidays, has worked well and is something that we will continue to do next season.
Anybody that has missed any training sessions due to first team games will be replaced in the coming weeks. We have also put it to the coaches that their groups can continue training subject to availability at a cost of £4 per player for the session.
First team match
The first team are at home on Saturday and only need a draw to secure another Welsh Premier League title. The match will kick off at 15:07pm and we want all of our coaches, parents and players to hopefully celebrate our success with us on Saturday.
There is a food offer on. The offer consists of TWO for ONE on ANY FOOD from the Main Menu (the cheapest meal being FREE).
We are in the process of creating a new fee structure for next season’s Academy intake. Match day attendances of players will be taken into consideration when issuing the fee for next season. The club sees this as important as the players attitude and contribution to the team.
FAW Welsh Cup Final
The first team have reached the FAW Welsh Cup Final after beating Bala Town. The Final against Aberystwyth Town will be played at Wrexham’s Racecourse Stadium on Saturday the 3rd of May. We are hoping to see as many of you as possible at the Final.
This will take place within the next two weeks at The Venue. Your coach will give you your individual time slots. You will be able to discuss your players progress over the course of the year and they will be able to answer questions as well as discuss plans for next season.
We will be entering our teams this year in the Keele Tournament. Your coaches should be in touch about details and arrangements for the tournament.
The End of Season Awards Evening will be held on Sunday the 27th of April and will include Academy, Scholarship, and first team players. Times are to be confirmed. All players will be invited to the evening FREE of charge with accompanying Adults paying £5 each. If you wish to book a place, can you please let your coach know.
We are holding a THREE day Easter camp at The Venue from Monday the 21st of April to Wednesday the 23rd of April. It will cost £10 per day or £25 for the three days. For more information, please contact Niall Broe on firstname.lastname@example.org
