Scott signed for Chester from Newtown in the summer of 2000 after scoring 17 goals in 92 League of Wales appearances for the Robins.

Two years later, the midfielder returned to the Welsh Premier League, this time to join The Saints, in the January of 2002 .

The Shrewsbury born player was also voted into the WPL dream team in both the 2004/5 and 2005/6 seasons.

The TNS number seven is also the record Welsh Premier League appearance holder with The New Saints.
