FAW Welsh Youth Cup Final Preview

The New Saints Under 19’s will take on Swansea City in the Final of the FAW Welsh Youth Cup tomorrow.
 
The Final will take place at Swansea’s Liberty Stadium and will kick off at 19:00pm.
 
Steve Evans’ Saints beat Penrhyncoch 12-0 in the first round of the FAW Welsh Youth Cup before getting a bye in the second round.
 
Gap Connah’s Quay awaited the TNS Under 19’s in the third round and The Saints beat them by three goals to two, to secure a place in the Quarter-Finals.
 
A trip to Taff’s Well was next for Evans’ side and once again, the team put in a fantastic display, beating the South Walian side by six goals to one.
 
Next up for Evans’ FAW Welsh Premier Development League winning squad, was a Semi-Final versus Llandudno, which was played at Denbeigh’s Central Park. A dramatic extra time winner was scored by the ever impressive Ryan Kershaw, to secure a spot in the FAW Youth Cup Final. 
 
Swansea City advanced into the Final after beating rivals Cardiff City by three goals to one at Port Talbot.
 
The Swans will be aiming to win the FAW Welsh Youth Cup for a fifth consecutive year.
