Players Put Pen to Paper

The New Saints Football Club are delighted to announce that a number of players have agreed new contracts with the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League Champions.

Club Captain, Paul Harrison has put pen to paper on a new two year contact which will keep the former Liverpool goalkeeper at the Oswestry based club until the summer of 2016.

Defensive stalwarts Kai Edwards, who signed from Neath and Chris Marriott who signed for TNS from Wrexham, have also both signed two year contract extensions with The Saints.

Both Ryan Fraughan and Connell Rawlinson will stay with the club for another two years having agreed new deals.

Greg Draper who signed for TNS in 2011 has been given a new three year contract after finishing as The New Saints’ joint top goal scorer. 

The prolific Alex Darlington and the ever consistent Aeron Edwards have both been rewarded with new two year contracts, after helping Craig Harrison’s side to a domestic double.

Sam Finley has also agreed to stay with the WPL outfit after the young midfielder capped off a superb campaign by winning the 2014 TNS player of the season award.

Matty Williams, who scored nine WPL goals this season and Phil Baker have both signed for another season with The Saints.

Curtis Jones and Ryan Jones have both been released. The New Saints would like to wish both players all the best in the future.
