Young Dragons Defeated

After resoundingly beating hosts Lithuania, the Welsh Women’s Under 17’s team lost to Latvia by three goals to one.

The Women’s Under 17’s coach Sam Huggins made several changes from the team that beat the Lithuanians but The New Saints’ Charlotte Edmunds once again featured and was made captain for the match.

The last game of the mini-tournament ended in a four two defeat against Ukraine.

A third game in four days for the young squad stretched them all the way and despite taking the lead through Chloe Chivers in the second half, The Welsh succumbed at the end of the 80 minutes to a very good Ukrainian side.

TNS youngster, Charlotte Edmunds once again featured for the Young Dragons.
