The New Saints Football Club will be eagerly awaiting the outcome of the UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying round draw on Monday the 23rd of June.
The Saints were drawn against Polish Champions Legia Warsaw last season and there is a possibility that the two clubs could face each other again this time around.
There is also a distinct possibility that TNS may be drawn against Scottish Champions, Celtic FC in what would be a mouth watering tie for British football.
The first leg is scheduled to take place on either the 15th or 16th of July, with the second leg taking place a week later on either 22nd or 23rd of July.
Amongst other possible draws are a trip to Prague to face Czech Champions, Sparta Prague and a trip to Bratislava to face Slovak Champions, Slovan Bratislava.
Latvian Champions, Ventspils are also a possible opponent and if drawn with each other would be facing one another for the second time, having first met in 2007. The Saints triumphed by three goals to two in the first leg but lost by two goals to one in the away leg and cruelly went out on away goals.
HJK from Helsinki, Finland could potentially be an opponent for Craig Harrison’s Saints in what is set to be a fascinating draw in under just three weeks time.
The draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland.
