Club Statement

Following the Football Association of Wales’ charge against the club being found proven for an alleged offence committed by supporters who threw smoke bombs onto the pitch during our Welsh Premier League game at Bangor City last season, The New saints will work closely with its supporter base to ensure similar situations don’t occur in the future.

‘The club has never been involved in instances of this nature in the past and  as club we don’t condone the use of flares or smoke bombs at football matches, such situations not only tarnish the family friendly image of our club but the image of the league and we have taken the matter very seriously and we are confident that this kind of behaviour will not happen again.’ Commented The New Saints Chief Operating Officer Ian Williams
