The two clubs agreed to move the kick off to 15:00pm as opposed to starting the friendly match at 14:30pm.

The friendly will also pit TNS manager Craig Harrison against one of his former clubs. The 36 year old came through the ranks at The Boro and broke into the first team aged only 19. The former defender made his debut for Middlesbrough against Barnet in an English Football League Cup victory and helped his side reach a second successive final in the then named, Coca-Cola Cup.

Craig’s debut season at The Riverside Stadium was a huge success. During the end of season awards, he was voted the Players Young Player of the Year and also won the Fans Player of the Year.

Currently playing in the Sky Bet English Championship, Middlesbrough are managed by the former Real Madrid and Spanish International, Aitor Karanka.

The fixture will take place at The New Saints’ Park Hall Stadium on Saturday the 2nd of August.

Tickets are now on sale for the game and can be purchased from The Venue.
