Penybont Preview

The New Saints will take on Penybont FC tomorrow in the third round of the Word Cup.

The match will take place at Park Hall Stadium and will kick off at 19:45pm.

Penybont FC were formed in 2013 following the merger of Bridgend Town F.C. and Bryntirion Athletic F.C.

The club currently play in the Welsh Football League Division One.

They play their home games at Bryntirion Park which has a capacity of 1,200. The new pitch was officially opened by the former Cardiff City manager, Malky Mackay on January 7th, 2014

The Chairman is Emlyn Phillips and the manager is Francis Ford.

The Saints beat Porthmadog in the first round and then knocked out Airbus UK in the second round to secure the tie against Penybont.

Penybont dramatically knocked out Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League side, Carmarthen Town in the previous round after an extra time winner from forward, Jack Delve.
