The New Saints drew one all with Aberystwyth Town at a freezing Park Hall Stadium in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League.
An early goal from Greg Draper was cancelled out by a later Chris Venables strike as the visitors left with a point.
TNS started well and controlled the opening stages of the game with Draper going close. The forward nearly broke the deadlock with his acrobatic effort but the ball went just over.
However within a minute, Draper did open the scoring. The striker tapped in a great cross from Simon Spender to give TNS the lead at Park Hall Stadium.
Spender who was having his 100th start for The Saints headed against the post. The energetic right back headed straight at the post from six yards out as TNS attempted to double the lead.
Scott Quigley then had a chance to get his name on the score sheet but his effort was kept out by Mike Lewis.
Chris Seargeant smashed the bar from the edge of the box as TNS continued to push forward.
The second half started with Aeron Edwards forcing Lewis into another good save.
Venables went up the other end but was expertly kept out by Paul Harrison as the visitors tried to find a way back into the game.
Jamie Mullan replaced Quigley midway through the second half and within seconds the rapid winger picked out Seargeant who headed just over the bar.
Seargeant then turned provider but Connell Rawlinson’s header bounced back off the bar.
However, with ten minutes left, Venables equalised from the edge of the box. The forward beat Harrison with a brilliant low drive to level the game and secure a point for his side.
The New Saints: Harrison, Spender, Marriott, Baker, Rawlinson, K.Edwards, Seargeant (Williams 85), A.Edwards, Cieslewicz, Draper and Quigley (Mullan 68).
