The New Saints beat Cefn Druids at a cold Park Hall Stadium by three goals to one in the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League.
Goals from Mike Wilde, Adrian Cielsewicz and Kai Edwards sealed the points for the Welsh Premier League Champions.
TNS took the lead after only ten minutes when Wilde met a corner and headed past Louis Gray to give his side an early lead.
Shortly after, Chris Seargeant tried his luck from 30 yards out but the ball whistled inches over with Gray beaten.
Midway through the first half and after a scrappy ten minutes of play, The Saints won a free kick on the edge of the box. Seargeant stepped up and struck the post as TNS nearly doubled their advantage.
Aeron Edwards then shot straight at Gray as TNS continued to dominate the match.
The second half started with TNS dictating the tempo and on the hour mark, Cieslewicz provided the best moment of the match. Having picked up the ball on the wing, the former Wrexham man dribbled into the box before slotting the ball into the bottom corner.
The Druids looked lively on the break but were unable to create anything that troubled Paul Harrison as TNS controlled the possession.
However, with only fifteen minutes left, substitute Derek Taylor pulled a goal back after TNS had failed to clear a corner.
Craig Harrison then gave Jamie Reed his debut for The Saints as he looked to finish off the game.
The game eventually was finished off in the 89th minute when Edwards bundled in a Chris Marriott free kick.
