Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League Champions, The New Saints today visited The Shropshire Golf Centre to put their football skills to test away from the football pitch.

The ‘hybrid’ sport is growing in popularity across the UK and the TNS players enjoyed a day out at the centre based in Telford, as part of a team bonding exercise.

Having already successfully retained their Welsh Premier Crown, the players enjoyed a team bonding session which included two hole in ones from central defender Phil Baker as well as fitness coach, Ed Harper.

Craig Harrison who has for guided The Saints to four WPL titles, two FAW Welsh Cups and one Word Cup stressed, ‘It is great to be able to enjoy ourselves away from the football pitch once in a while and today’s team bonding session was just what we needed after all the hard work everyone has put in to win the League. However, it is vital we keep going as we still have a lot to play for. To win the Welsh Cup again would be a great accomplishment and to go unbeaten for the entire campaign would be a magnificent achievement and one that we are all focused on achieving.’
