Almost perfect, almost. But as good as really. League Cup, League Title and a 2-0 win over Newtown to complete a treble for The New Saints signed off the best season the club has arguably ever had.
Craig Harrison has built such a good TNS side, and that showed as they swept aside Newtown with ease at the weekend, in front of a huge 1,500 strong crowd, although I would have said the figure was more than that.
I have run out of superlatives this season to describe how well the Saints have done in my blog, and I have none left in the tank, so I will have to re-fuel for next season.
It has been memorable for myself, I began with Newtown a club I still hold in very high regard, and was disappointed to see them go down on Saturday.
But I moved over to TNS after being approached by the club, and it has been such a good experience.
Doing live radio every weekend is something I endeavour to do full time in the future, and the club has given me such a foot up.
I have been self taught, as has my co-commentator the Rev and we have had some great experiences along the way, and I think he will agree the best one was having to sign the autograph of a fan at Port Talbot!
Well done to all the players from the youngest side to the first team who collected their end of season awards on Saturday evening.
A fitting end to the season.
And to be honest, that is it from me now.
It has been a long old season, and one that I am now glad is over.
It has been great and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all at the club for welcoming me in this season, from Mike and Ian right the way down to the stewards.
Everyone has been great, and the final thanks is for my colleague on the radio, the Rev, loved by all at the club.
It has been a pleasure this season Rev!
All the best,
