Name: Stewart Bloor
Role at the club: Chaplain / TNS Radio presenter / social media
What was your favourite moment of the treble winning season?
It has to be when the final whistle was blown in the Welsh Cup final. It meant the dream had become a reality.
What was your favourite goal of the season?
The very last one! The Matty Williams penalty. Even though it was ‘just’ a penalty, when the back of the net rippled I knew then that the historic treble was almost in the bag.
Who was the most consistent performer for TNS?
That’s really difficult as so many names come to mind. I will go for Kai Edwards though, as his versatility to switch from the centre of defence to midfield has been seamless. He’s never let the side down.
Who was the most improved player for The Saints?
I’m a centre-half myself, therefore always tend to notice players in that position. So on that basis I am going for Connell Rawlinson. He has really pushed on and matured.
What made you proud of being involved with the record breaking Champions?
On a personal level just being involved has been enough. To become part of the club this past season has been amazing.
What are the challenges ahead for next season?
It has to be the Champions League. To get to the group stage would be a massive achievement, not only for TNS but for Welsh football as a whole.
