May 29 2015 at 5.00pm may not be a particular date and time that stands out for you, but for me it was the moment I released my season ticket at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Even back in August 2014, If you’d have said I’d have done that, I wouldn’t have believed you. However, since being involved with The New Saints, I quickly reached the point where two into one just wouldn’t go.
Now at this point let me clarify; I’m not coming from a negative perspective, far from it. In fact, for me personally, it’s been an incredible journey. For a few years I had been a fairly regular visitor to Park Hall when Wolves didn’t have a game.
To go from a fan in the stands to actually being involved with the club, well, I think that’s what they mean when they say you’re living the dream. There’s a life-lesson there as well of course. Even in your 50s dreams can come true.
Most people have hopes that sadly will never materialise. The brilliant thing for me personally though is that I wasn’t actually aspiring to anything, it just happened. That’s what you call a full-colour HD experience. Thank you TNS.
With the new season looming, why not consider sponsoring a player? With your name appearing in every matchday programme, If you run a business it’s a great way of getting your brand out there.
In addition, you can meet your player at a game and get a photo. Imagine a shot on your website with a TNS star, it would definitely be great for your profile! You also get to have an official photo at the end-of-season awards night, where you’ll be presented with the player’s shirt.
Of course, it’s not just for businesses, anyone can get involved. We’ve already had repeat sponsorship this season from the Challinor family and Steve Rogers, for Greg Draper and Simon Spender respectively.
In addition, we’ve also got Adrian Cieslewicz sorted for the coming campaign. So, if you’re interested then get in touch right away and grab the player of your choice! The cost is £100 per player for the season.
