Tomorrow night TNS will take on B36 Torshavn in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League
first qualifying round. The Saints will go into the game with a lead after Mike Wilde’s dramatic last minute winner gave TNS their first ever away win in the UFA Champions League last Wednesday.
Craig Harrison’s side momentarily trailed after Hans Samuelson’s early goal but were level soon after thanks to Scott Quigley. TNS dominated the game for large period and eventually scored in the last minute to give them the advantage going into tomorrow nights game.
The match at Park Hall Stadium will kick off at 19:00pm and Harrison is confident his side can finish the job off at home, ‘I am very confident that we can progress after picking up a great result away form home last week. To go away from home in Europe is always difficult so to get a win was a magnificent. I am very confident we can progress and I firmly believe that we can score a goal at Park Hall which will put us in a great position.’
TNS will go into tomorrow, knowing that a draw will be enough to secure a berth in the UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying Round where Hungarian Champions Videoton FC await.
