The 2015/2016 Dafabet Welsh Premier League season will begin tomorrow for the reigning Champions who will travel to newly promoted, Haverfordwest County.

The New Saints completed a memorable campaign last season by winning the treble and will be aiming to replicate that success once again this year.

Craig Harrison’s side performed very well during the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers last month and after beating B36 Torshavn in both legs, narrowly lost out to Hungarian Champions, Videoton FC despite winning the game out in Hungary thanks to Matty Williams goal.

The Saints last travelled to Pembrokeshire in 2013 and won 1-0 in the FAW Welsh Cup thanks to a Matty Williams goal.

Nicknamed ‘The Bluebirds’, they play their home games at Bridge Meadow Stadium and are managed by Wayne Jones.

The club was founded in 1989 and finished thirds in WPL in the 2003/2004 season.

The club were promoted back up to the WPL on the 5th of May 2015 after a 5-0 victory over Aberdare Town.
