Reed Loaned to Aber

Dafabet Welsh Premier League Champions The New Saints have today loaned out Jamie Reed to WPL rivals, Aberystwyth Town.

The former York City striker joined TNS in November 2014 and made his debut for The Saints in January of this year.

The powerful forward scored his first goal for The Saints against Prestatyn Town.

Craig Harrison confirmed that Reed will be out on loan for one month and added, ‘It’s been a frustrating time for Jamie not playing as much football as he would have wanted but he has been very patient, professional and showed a great attitude to get in the team and when he has, he has done great.’

The TNS manager added, ‘The timing is right for him to go and get a run of games and score goals, which he will as he has proved it everywhere he has played. I am hoping he can come back sharper, match fit and bubbling with confidence to try and make a starting position his own. Ian Hughes is a very good manager and coach and has got a good team together and done great for Aber. We know Reedy will do great for Aber and Aber will be good for Reedy.’
