TNS and MBi Llandudno Draw at Park Hall

A Mike Wilde goal in the first half was cancelled out by James Joyce as TNS drew 1-1 with MBi Llandudno at Park Hall Stadium in the Dafabet Welsh Premier League.

The Saints began well and dominated the possession early on without troubling the Llandudno defence.

However, soon after both Alex Darlington and Wilde forced Dave Roberts into action as The Saints looked like breaking the deadlock and moments later TNS eventually did, thanks to Wilde.

The TNS forward chested the ball down and slotted in from 8 yards out to give TNS a 1-0 lead after 28 minutes.

Scott Quigley then shot wide from just outside the box as the WPL Champions pushed forward in search of a second goal.

The second half began badly for TNS who conceded a free kick on the edge of the box in the 47th minute. James Joyce managed to curl the ball over the wall and find the bottom corner to level the match.

Harrison sent on Adrian Cieslewicz in order to regain the lead and he was involved in the move that set up a free kick for TNS on the edge of the box. However, Chris Seargeant’s dipping effort flew inches over the bar.

Marc Williams then broke forward for Llandudno and shot just over the bar with Paul Harrison beaten.

Moments later, Tom Dix found space on the edge of the box and shot just wide as the game became increasingly open.

Joyce then smashed the bar from the edge of the box as the visitors grew in confidence.

However, despite The Saints pushing forward late on, the visitors held on and the match finished 1-1.
