Kai Disappointed with Point

The New Saints played out a goalless draw with Rhyl in the Dafabet Welsh Premier League over the weekend and central defender, Kai Edwards was disappointed with the result.

After only picking up a point, Edwards said, ‘The pitch was lively and it was hard to get the ball moving. It was disappointing  to draw but we must take the positives out of the game. We kept a clean sheet and are still unbeaten in the league so it isn’t all bad news.’

The TNS defender added, ‘We kept on pushing forward in search of the goal but Rhyl defended well to be fair and we couldn’t find a way through.’

The Saints will now turn their attention to Saturday’s WPL fixture against Port Talbot Town which will be played at Park Hall Stadium.
