Head of Girls & Women’s Football commented after the game. “We played better today than we did against Walsall in terms of the football we played. If we had a possession stat it would be around the seventy percent mark, which is impressive for any team”.
“We had chances but were unable to convert them today. It’s something we know how to do and need to ensure we take chances when we get them, especially in tighter games” “We look forward to the next round, having a home tie to lower league opposition will creat a great cup tie, but we have to ensure we don’t take the tie lightly”.
“Sophie Davies was excellence today. Ran the game from midfield and just calmed the play down when it was getting a little frantic”.
