Harrison Confident of Victory

The New Saints will take on Port Talbot Town on Saturday and Craig Harrison is eager to get back to winning ways.

The Dafabet Welsh Premier League Champions are unbeaten in the league so far this season having picked up a win in the first game of the campaign against Haverfordwest Town followed up by draws against MBi Llandudno and Rhyl.

The former Premier League defender has been happy with how his side have been playing but also disappointed that five points have been picked up as opposed to nine. The former Middlesbrough defender commented, ‘We have drawn our last two games and despite playing well in both games, we have not managed to win those games, which is something we are aiming to put right on Saturday.’

Harrison confirmed that The Steelmen are capable of causing The Saints problems and that the WPL Champions will have to be ready for the challenge, ‘Port Talbot will cause us problems as they are a decent outfit and I am sure that it will be a tough game for us but I am always confident in my players and will be looking to secure maximum points. We have trained really well this week and we are all hoping to get back to winning ways.’

The match against Port Talbot will take place at park Hall Stadium and will kick off at 14:30pm.
