Craig Harrison was disappointed with the second half performance at the Airfield on Saturday after drawing 1-1 with his former side Airbus UK in the Dafabet Welsh premier League.
The New Saints had taken a deserved lead thanks to a Mike Wilde goal but Tony Gray levelled with ten minutes left to play.
The former Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace defender was happy with the first half display and said, ‘Certainly the first 45 minutes we deserved to be two or three up but going into half time only leading one nil it is always tough. It was very disappointing that we didn’t kill the game off.’
Harrison added, ‘We could have and should have been three or four up. It would have put a different slant on the game if we had of but it wasn’t to be. Airbus are a good team and are very strong from set plays. They scored from a set play in the last ten minutes and to be honest that was a fair outcome due to our performance in the second half.’
