Mullock Joins Aber on Loan

The New Saints Football Club has loaned out Chris Mullock to Aberystwyth Town FC.

The former Cefn Druids goalkeeper joined The Saints during the summer of 2013 and has now signed with Ian Hughes’ side.

Mullock famously kept a clean sheet against Finnish outfit MyPa in the Europa League first qualifying round and the TNS number 25 has agreed to join Bernie McNally’s Robins.

‘Mulls’ will be available for The Seasiders when Gap Connah’s Quay travel to Park Avenue tomorrow afternoon.

Speaking about the move, Craig Harrison said, ‘Chris has done fantastic since he first joined us and his attitude as well as his work ethic has been a joy to coach. It is hard for him here as he is playing behind what I think is the best goalkeeper in the league, in Paul Harrison and in my opinion, Mullock is the second best goalkeeper in the league.’

The former Crystal Palace defender went on to say that, ‘He did really well for us last season when we achieved a lot of success and he was an integral part of the side.’
