Paul Harrison was pleased to have progressed into the next round of the JD FAW Welsh Cup after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town on Saturday and the TNS Captain is hopeful of retaining the trophy for the third year in a row.
The TNS number one has once again been in fine form during this campaign and is happy to have kept so many clean sheets thus far, ‘It is going well and we are keeping a lot of clean sheets as a team this season which is a really good foundation.’
Midway through the second half, Harrison was forced into making a great save having not touched the ball for a while and said, ‘It can be difficult but I am pretty used to it seeing as though I am the goalkeeper for TNS because a lot of the time there is not much to do. Hopefully I am able to help out when I am needed.’
The TNS Captain has lifted the last two JD FAW Welsh Cups and is hoping to lift it for a third time in a row this season, ‘The last two weeks have probably been two of our best performances. We are on the way up so hopefully we can get to another final and I can get a chance to lift the trophy again.’
The Saints will face old foes Barry Town in the fourth round of the JD FAW Welsh Cup.
