This weekend The New Saints hosted a football festival at Park Hall Stadium.
The Festival ran on Saturday from 9.45am until 5.15pm, and featured over 300 players from U8 to U11 age groups.
Teams taking part included TNS, Airbus, Rhyl, Flint Town, Caernarfon Town, Bangor City, Vauxhall Motors, Connahs Quay, Chester City and Newtown.
After the festival, we spoke to head of foundation at The New Saints Academy Jason Brindley who had this to say:
“Really pleased with the quality of football on show from all teams today, the standard was unbelievable. We played a round robin of fixtures, not taking results. The emphasis of the day was about participation, development but above all else enjoyment. A massive thankyou to all the teams for travelling down and taking part. With a lot of local games being called off due to the weather, its superb to see over 300 players playing throughout the day, making the most of our facilities. The pitch and Venue in general was vibrant and buzzing with energy.”
