Little Saints is being introduced for one to four-year-olds and starts on Tuesday 2nd February at midday. The hour-long indoor sessions will run every Tuesday afternoon at The Venue at Park Hall. Aimed at toddlers and pre-schoolers – it’s a fun introduction to sports and has been organised by TNS Head of Foundation Jason Brindley; “we felt there was a gap in the market for parents who are football-mad themselves and want their children to follow their passion or for those that are looking for an activity to keep their little ones entertained and make new friends.
The success of the Mini Saints football sessions for four to seven-year-olds, which runs on a Wednesday afternoon at 4pm regularly gets groups of up to 30 children and has prompted the introduction of a second class, which will take place on Saturday mornings 9AM – 10AM.
Jason adds: “The additional class provides an alternative to the Wednesday class or can be used as an extra training opportunity to improve skills before children reach seven-years-old and go on trial for an academy place in the under-7s pre-academy. It’s also a great opportunity for children and parents to socialise and make new friends.”
The addition of the new sessions further strengthens the club’s youth system which currently trains around 250 boys and girls from the ages of four up to nineteen, where the most talented players have the opportunity to sign professional contracts.
Sessions cost £3.50 each. Anyone interested in signing up can email Jason.firstname.lastname@example.org.
