TNS Beaten At Home For First Time in Four Years

The New Saints of Oswestry Town lost at home in the Welsh Premier League for the first time since November 2012 after a resilient performance by Newtown.

With Bala Town beating Airbus yesterday, The Saints were unable to clinch the title today but were beaten by a strong Robins side despite a goal from Jamie Mullan.

However, a brace from Matty Owen was enough to beat the WPL Champions who will now hope to get back winning ways against title rivals Bala Town.
