Harrison: We Will Put It Right

After a shock home defeat against Newtown on Saturday, The New Saints of Oswestry Town manager Craig Harrison has vowed to ‘Put it right.’

The loss ended an unbeaten home run in the league that had stretched back to November 2012 but Harrison admitted the team will not dwell on the result, ‘We’re not dwelling on the defeat but we’re not blasé about it either. The result will have a big effect on everyone here.’

A potentially decisive home game against Bala Town on the 9th of April will be the next game for The Saints at Park Hall and a win would be enough to become WPL Champions, ‘I am 100% sure the setbacks we have had in our last couple of games are just a minor blip in the bigger scheme of things. The facts are that we are five points clear with three games to go.’

TNS will take on gap Connah’s Quay in the JD FAW Welsh Cup Semi-Final on Saturday and the former Middlesbrough player said, ‘We are all hurting ahead of the Cup Semi-Final and it’s up to us to put it right.’
