RJAH Hospital / Derwen College Event Feedback

We received a lovely email this morning from Gareth Pritchard and, with his permission, we are posting it below.

As a club – and especially through our Foundation – we are very happy and privileged to be involved in the wider community.

On behalf of everyone at RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital and Derwen College we would like to thank you for your help and support with the loan of a goal post for our Penalty Shootout Final held on the sports field at the hospital.
The event was part of the 150th & 160th birthdays of our founders and the 90th birthday of Dame Agnes Hunt who founded both the Hospital and Derwen College.

Please will you thank Jason for his time in helping us with the goal. You will note that TEAM Blue & TEAM Green are in TNS kit. Shropshire FA arranged for Sara Davies a local referee to take charge of the game and was brilliant and it was exciting for the lads to have a proper referee.

We also had donated 2 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Footballs and our Mascot Aaron Jones who is a patient at the hospital wore a kit donated by Liverpool FC.

Your help made for a memorable day will form part of the social history of both the hospital and College.
Thanks once again for your help and support.

Kind regards
Gareth Pritchard
Governor for N.Wales.
