The Month Of Action Draws To A Close But The Message Continues

As the Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) Month of Action (#MOA17) draws to a close, The New Saints of Oswestry Town has once again been proud to have been involved.

From social media awareness through to events at Park Hall, the message that racism is unacceptable has been promoted. Find out more here: The New Saints Of Oswestry Town Show Racism The Red Card

Last week we hosted school children from Ysgol Bryn Tabor and Ysgol Rhosymedre, as SRtRC’s Jason Webber visited Park Hall. Scott Ruscoe, Jacob Farleigh and Simon Spender were also involved. Read more here: Show Racism The Red Card Comes To Park Hall

The culmination of our involvement was the JD Welsh Premier League game on Saturday (October 28 2017) against Cardiff Met FC. The players wore tee shirts in the pre-match warm-up and prior to kick-off, along with the opposition, red cards were displayed.

In addition, we welcomed back a number of children from the aforementioned schools, along with parents, who were our guests for the day.

Hosted and coordinated by TNS Foundation, a great time was had by one and all but most importantly, a vital message was communicated.

Although the Month Of Action draws to a close, the message continues.
