With Cardiff Metropolitan University FC already in the final following their 1-0 victory at home to Newtown AFC, on Monday (November 20 2017) their opponents will be known.
Joining them will be the victors from the Deeside clash between Connah’s Quay Nomads and The New Saints of Oswestry Town.
Having already met this season in the JD WPL – in a game that ended 2-2 – the Nathaniel MG Cup semi-final promises to be just as close, at least on paper.
The Nomads’ route to the final has been courtesy of two 2-0 victories. In the second round they saw off Bangor City at home, followed by a victory at Flintshire rivals, Airbus UK.
TNS’ opening game ended in a comfortable 5-1 win on the road at Flint Town United. The game was also memorable in that Harry Bower, Callum Jones and Lewis Kaye all made their first team debuts.
Round Three was again against Huws Gray Alliance opponents, as Caernarfon Town visited Park Hall. A clean sheet at one end and goals from Darlington and Seargeant at the other saw TNS progress.
