Following away games at Llandudno and Connah’s Quay in the JD WPL and Nathaniel MG Cup respectively, it’s back to Park Hall on Saturday (November 25 2017) for Scott Ruscoe’s side.
Carmarthen Town are the visitors, as The New Saints of Oswestry Town look to maintain – and depending on other results, extend – their lead at the top of the table.
Currently top of a pile that sees four teams separated by just two points, the fortunes of Mark Aizlewood’s Old Gold are by contrast the exact opposite.
Rooted at the foot of the table, they currently find themselves eleven points adrift of Prestatyn in tenth place.
With just four points from fourteen games and a goal difference of -25 it’s been a very disappointing season so far for the Richmond Park faithful.
The teams met in September, also in the JD WPL, with The New Saints running out 5-0 winners, as the new 3G pitch saw its first competitive game end in a heavy defeat for the home side.
Goals from Ryan Brobbel and Blaine Hudson were topped off by a Chris Seargeant hat-trick, as a crowd of 407 witnessed the current champions take all three points.
The game this Saturday kicks off at 2.30 pm, and in conjunction with fireworks afterwards (6.00 pm), it’s free entry.
The officials are: Kevin Parry / John Bryant / Ashley Davies / Mark Petch / Keith Spencer.
