The day itself began bright and early with face-painting at The Venue. Following that it was a short journey across to the other side of town, where the impressive float was ready and waiting to carry TNS Academy youngsters and Foundation workers alike.

Making its way through Oswestry along with the other entrants, TNS flags and sweets were handed out to the multitudes that gathered roadside to witness the festive spectacle.
