Community Sessions

The TNS FC Foundation has again teamed up with Street games to help girls and young women between the age of 14 and 25 to stay active. The Club1 initiative provides those who want to increase their activity levels, or maintain fitness, the opportunity to get involved at no cost.

Gobowen Youth Club

The Foundation now runs Gobowen Youth Club on behalf of Shropshire council. The club welcomes everyone age 10-16 for music, games arts and crafts and activities such as pool, table tennis and air hockey. The club costs £2 per person and a tuck shop with refreshments will also be available. For more information please email


Weston Rhyn Youth Club

The Foundation has also been commissioned to run Weston Rhyn Youth Club which runs every Thursday from the 1st of February 4pm-6pm with a special meet and greet from 3.30pm for parents on the first session. Cooking, arts and crafts, DVD corner, games and table tennis are just some of the available activities. For more information, please email


TNS “Get Active” Club1

The Foundation visits St.Martins School every Wednesday 3.30-4.30pm providing activities for girls age 12+. We also provide participants with an opportunity to visit The Venue for special end of term trips, using the gym, bowling alley and laser facilities!

£3.50 per session


Venue Club1 Fitness

Girls and young women age 14-25 years of age can now attend the gym at The Venue for £2 every Thursday 7pm-8pm, supervised by a Level2 Qualified fitness instructor. Inductions are provided including full guidance through the different exercises. Attending the gym can help young girls and women:

  • Socialise with friends in a safe supervised environment
  • Maintain a healthy bodyweight
  • Build strength and tone
  • Improve cardiovascular fitness
  • Introduce exercise adherence from a young age

New for 2018! CICS Cymru

The New Saints FC Foundation has recently been commissioned by the Welsh FA to run a new football session after school at Rhiwabon High School. The sessions run 3.15-4.15 and offer a non-intimidating, grassroots-friendly environment. Incentives are on offer for all participants including a fantastic loyalty scheme with match day tickets and goodies!

CICS Welshpool

Following in the footsteps of our Rhiwabon CICS session is Monday Night Kicks Welshpool. This provides an opportunity to socialise, learn or improve football skills, get active and have fun, age 11-16. Sessions are free of charge and take place at Welshpool Youth Centre Monday 6.30-7.30. Tuesday Night CICS Plas Madoc

CICS Plas Madoc takes place every Tuesday 4.15pm-5.15pm and is free of charge for boys and girls age 11-16. This session is run in conjunction with Plas Madoc FC and aims to provide opportunities to get involved in competitions and tournaments. Please contact for more information. 

SSE Wildcats

The Foundation has teamed up with the Shropshire FA to provide grassroots introductory football for girls age 5-11. SSE Wildcats is aimed at those who would like a gentle introduction to football and takes place every Friday at The Venue 4.30-5.30pm at £3. Email


Holiday Activities: Summer 2018

The New Saints FC Foundation runs holiday clubs throughout the year. We are now committed to delivering activities out in the community as well as in-house. Working in partnership with Three Parishes Big Local and Oswestry Town Council, children age 4-16 can stay physically active during the school holidays and enjoy a free healthy lunch**


Our Level 2 qualified coaches provide multiple activities for all ages and abilities, and hold the relevant health and safety and first aid qualifications. Sessions are held in the following locations which have indoor and toilet facilities:

Gobowen Pavillion and Playing Fields Mondays from the 23rd of July – 27th August         

St.Martins Centre and Playing Fields Wednesdays the 25th of July – 29th August

Cae Glas Park Oswestry   Wednesdays the 25th of July – 29th August          

Weston Rhyn  Institute and Rec  Thursdays from the 26th of July – 30th of August

Ellesmere Rangers F.C Fridays from the 27th of July – 31st of August
