 Match report:

TNS started the game on the front foot, applying early pressure and dominating possession. It wasn’t long before The Saints took the lead, after Rob Reynolds met Jack Jones‘ perfect cross to head home.

The second came when TNS carved open the Rangers’ defence, and again Reynolds met Jones‘ cross to score his second.

Harvey Plimmer made it three when he tapped home from close range, after the Rangers’ keeper dropped the ball at his feet.

Aron Jones then made it 4-0, when he hit a superb 25-yard free-kick into the top corner.

The second half was the same, as TNS dominated possession and scored a further 3 goals through a Harvey Plimmer brace, which completed his hat-trick, and U16s player, Liam Parry, scoring his first for the club.

Aston Park Rangers did get a consolation goal at the end, but it’s The New Saints who progress into the next round.
