Wes Fletcher signed for The New Saints in the summer of 2016 on a two year deal.

Fletcher, 25, had been on the books at both Manchester United and Liverpool during his youth before signing a first professional contract at Burnley.

He played twice for the Clarets first team and also enjoyed short-term loans at Grimbsy, Crewe, and Yeovil while at Turf Moor.

Fletcher signed for York City in the summer of 2013 and in his first-season, finished the club’s top goalscorer, netting 13 goals in 36 starts for the Minstermen.

A spell at Scottish side Motherwell followed before his move to Park Hall Stadium.
