The New Saints beat Carmarthen Town 1-0 thanks a late Mike Wilde goal.
The in-form striker headed in from a corner to give the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League Champions the victory.
The game was an uneventful affair and there were few chances for both sides. The state of the pitch at Richmond Park made it very difficult for The Saints to pass the ball around and the game ended up being a scrappy match.
The Saints had earlier gone close when Kai Edwards had his shot cleared off the line and although the home side pushed forward late on, The Saints left with all three points.
The New Saints line up for the game tonight was Harrison (C), Spender, Marriott, Rawlinson, Edwards, Jones, Mullan, Draper, Wilde, Seargeant and Ruscoe.
On the bench for The Saints were Fraughan, Darlington, Williams, Baker, Quigley and Simms.
The Carmarthen Town line up was Cann, Hicks, Hanford, Cummings, Palmer, McCresh, Fowler, Doidge, Thomas, Kellaway and Evans.
The referee was Bryan James.
