The New Saints beat Bala Town by three goals to one at Park Hall stadium.
Aeron Edwards opened the scoring after flicking the ball past the Bala goalkeeper and then passed the ball into the net.
On the stroke of half time Ian Sheridan coolly converted from close range to level the score.
Shortly after the break the Birkenhead-born Mike Wilde calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner to put his team back in front.
Moments later Alex Darlington volleyed against the post after a brilliant pass by Wilde.
Substitute Chris Marriott then struck into the top corner from the edge of the box with only minutes remaining.
