The friendly will be played at Solitude and will kick off at 12:45pm on Saturday the 6th of July.

Similar to The New Saints, the Belfast side are bracing themselves for a UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying round match. The Saints and Cliftonville were left in the draw with both Celtic and Legia Warsaw and it ‘The Reds’ came out last to set up a momentous match up with the Scottish Premier League Champions.

Back in 2011 The New Saints were drawn against Cliftonville in the Europa League First Qualifying round. A Phil Baker goal was enough to see The New Saints edge past Cliftonville and set up the memorable tie against Danish giants FC Midtjylland.
