Steve Evans’ side thrashed Solihull 7-1 thanks to a goal from Olie Beaman and two excellent hat-tricks from Harvey Holmes and Taylor James.
Within minutes of the kick off, James opened the scoring after a defensive mix up. The young Saints made it two shortly after when substitute Harvey Holmes raced through and coolly converted from close range.
Holmes then added his second of the game with a wonderful bullet header leaving the visiting goalkeeper no chance.
Shortly before half time Olie Beaman made it four. The strong defender met a brilliant corner with a powerful header to ensure that his team went into the half time break, leading four nil.
Moments into the second half, the visitors pulled a goal back with a magnificent strike from the edge of the box.
However, Holmes then completed a wonderful hat-trick with a cheeky flick from just inside the six yard box, to give TNS a five one lead.
Minutes later and it was six. James dribbled past the last Solihull defender, before slotting into the bottom corner and the TNS number nine then added his third and his team’s seventh with a close range finish, to seal a comfortable seven one win.
The starting line up was Fletcher, Edwards, Beaman, Wells, Davies, Richards, Mitten, Pryce, Walker, James and Cooper.
Elsewhere, the Elite Squad 2 had their game with Halesowen postponed.
